What is Niacinamide?
Niacinamide, also called nicotinamide, is a form of vitamin B3. It's found in many foods including meat, fish, milk, eggs, green vegetables, and cereals. Niacinamide is required for the function of fats and sugars in the body and to maintain healthy cells. Niacin is converted to niacinamide when it is taken in amounts greater than what is needed by the body. Unlike niacin, niacinamide doesn't help treat high cholesterol.
How does Niacinamide Affect the Skin?
Niacinamide supports the skin barrier (the outer surface of skin), increases its resiliency, and improves texture by making pores look smaller. It also helps balance oil production, and—bonus! —it's good for all skin types.

Niacinamide in a serum provides a safe way to control breakouts and inflammation. Niacinamide can improve skin hydration by preventing evaporation of moisture from the skin into the environment.
With Exfoliant toners accelerating the growth and repair of new skin, you want to try protect it from UVB or UVA rays.
As a result PM evening use is advised to begin with over using it in the morning as you are less likely to be out in the sun.
Nonetheless, after a week or two of use, involvement in the AM routine should begin & it is advisable to wear sunscreen SPF 15+.
All Skin types:
Unisex product.
Dry, oily & combination skin
Fair, tan & dark complexion.
Gently apply using fingers or a cotton pad over entire face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids) after cleansing and toning. Do not rinse.
Start Slowly: Apply every other day in the PM evening routine and note skin's response. Then use up to twice daily in both the AM & PM routines.
For day-time, always finish with SPF 15+.
For night-time, follow with the rest of your routine.
We have trialed and noticed that effects are seen 2-3 weeks after suggested usage.
- due to salicylic acid you may see the first 1-2 weeks of purging where your skin may look and feel worse. We suggest you evaluate the product after 3 weeks of use as results are then seen. This product is meant to be used in company with our other routine products. We offer a skincare guide that informs you on how to use these products.
